The order of Vittorio Venetto was established in the fiftieth anniversary of the Italian victory in World War I in order to “express the gratitude of the nation” to all Italian soldiers who had fought at least six months during the first world war. This award was given to Salvatore Dell’Utri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El orden de Vittorio Veneto se estableci\u00f3 en el cincuenta aniversario de la victoria italiana en la Primera Guerra Mundial con el fin de “expresar la gratitud de la naci\u00f3n” <\/a>a todos los soldados italianos que hab\u00edan luchado por lo menos seis meses Durante la primera guerra mundial. Este premio fue dado a nuestro pariente Salvador Dellutri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’ordine di Vittorio Veneto \u00e8 stata fondata nel cinquantesimo anniversario della vittoria italiana nella prima guerra mondiale, al fine di “esprimere la gratitudine della nazione” a tutti i soldati italiani che avevano combattuto almeno sei mesi durante la prima guerra mondiale. Questo premio \u00e8 stato dato al nostro parente Salvator Dellutri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What I can tell you about my dear grandfather (Salvatore), growing up, we lived next to their house. As my mom (Maria) was the only daughter , she was always more dedicated to them. My sister and I were the most nearby grandchildren, and I most spoiled for being the youngest. I keep a beautiful memory of my grandfather who was very affectionate and a hard worker. He and my dad had bought quite a big piece of land in the <\/a>province of Buenos Aires, El Palomar. This was great since they lived in the Federal Capital. They divided the land and each one constructed his own house; my father was a bricklayer at the time they built the two houses. In the year 1951 they went to live there, I was born in the house in 1952. My grandfather had a very good garden of vegetables and fruit-bearing trees, and also a pen of chickens and rabbits. There were many rabbits. When rabbits or chicks were born, my grandfather would come to look for me so that I could see the new-born, for me it was a happiness, but whenever they killed some to eat, I would get very angry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I suffered very much when my grandfather died in the year 1972, I was 20 years old. He was the first nearby relative to me who passed away… although he had more than 80 years, I was sorry about it, after 2 years my grandmother Josefa died….<\/p>\n\n\n\n
